Our 3 latest additions have been added, with 1 more to come!!!
Geoff Keller:
Known affectionately as "GoffMan"; joins the team as one of our few under 30 members and likely our most mysterious. Originally a Falmouth resident, now a physical therapist living in the Boston area, "Goff" attended Northeastern Univ.; rumors have been circulating for years indicating that he has since obtained his doctorate degree, but as of our deadline we have heard no confirmation of this (yeah... we didn't ask). "Goff Man" allegedly ran the Cape Cod Marathon without training in around 4hrs 30min, but that too is unconfirmed. We do know that he comes from a strong family of runners; Goff's dad was a former president of Falmouth Track Club and his mother has completed over 20 marathons! He is best known as best friend Joe Bushy, aka the ButtMan, and a fixture at many Bushy family get-togethers.
Melissa Stone:
Did you know a Stone weighs 6.35029318 kilograms? I did, and now, you do too. Did you know Melissa Stone is a kick butt runner who's excited to take on this new adventure? Again, I think I need to educate you. Allow me to drop this knowledge: Melissa began running seriously about 3 years ago when she trained for and ran her first Boston Marathon, you know "NBD" (no big deal). Since thn she has run in and completed 4 marathons (3 Boston, 1 NYC), successfully qualifying in 2 out of 4, and is currently preparing for Boston yet again. Oh yeah, and BTW (I'm not explaining that one) she ran her first Ironman earlier this year in Madison, WI. Did you know Melissa Stone is a glutton for punishment? Now you know.
Paul "PJ" Cooney
Paul likes running. Always has. But last year his girlfriend Melissa started secretly sneaking a cocktail made of: two parts HgH; one part of the stuff A-Rod was on; three parts liquid mercury; and 4 oz of Irish Whiskey, stirred with a wooden spoon made from a tree hit by lightning... the result? PJ completed not one but TWO marathons, Boston and NYC, grew wings on his feet, and now carries his spoon around with him at all times in a special case; rumor is he's named it Wonder Boy. Now, though off "the juice" (he's rumored to have told Congress that he's not here to talk about the past), PJ is excitedly training for Boston again, and is a fixture running in the streets of Boston's Back Bay. PJ also loves to snowboard, which instantly earned him street cred with the team, something he needed with this group.
We're looking forward to introducing the last member of our team soon!
